It reminded me of Robyn Carr's Virgin River books.

I knew where the story was going in the first 5 minutes but still a good Ms. Phillips story. Despite seeing some parts coming from way ahead there were also surprises.
Fun collection of characters and intertwined stories.

Wow, just wow. This book is depressing, sad, heartening...all the emotional words you can think of. I still don't know if I actually liked the book, which is why I gave it 3 stars--it isn't my usual read and it was so up and down and somewhat depressing at times that it just put me in a little mood. But wow, what an emotional read.

I had to stop somewhere around the middle part because I wasn't sure I like how the story was going but I'm glad I gave it another chance because it all worked out in the end.

OMG. This book. So I was a devotee of Susan Elizabeth Phillips in the 90's and early aughts. I'd read everything she wrote, as soon as it came out. Then, I kind of stopped looking for her as an author. I honestly would not have read this book, except I needed a book with Dance in the title for a Book Battle challenge. I am SO HAPPY I read this book. I mean, right in the feels. It's not what I expected at all. It's real and happy and sad and everything is delightful. If you fell off the Susan Elizabeth Phillips train sometime in the past, give her another try.

This was funny, dramatic, romantic, a little far-fetched but enjoyable nonetheless. I have nothing bad to say about it. The characters are a bit much, and Tess and Ian's romance was really good. The baby drama was intense but it fit the story. I really enjoyed this book.
