What in the hell did I just read?? Chris Carter has a very vivid imagination, and it shows in this book. One by One is definitely not a crime thriller for the squeamish but if you don't mind a bit of gore and love a page turner with a great plot then this one is for you! Just be prepared for very descriptive scenes

Another hugely entertaining and gruesome story from Chris Carter, this time, the killer is broadcasting their kills online! Very addictive storyline, one of my favourites in this series!

story wise this was just as good as carter's other books, but the writing was somehow lacking
also i don't know if it's bcs i read so many of his books this year, but every character being so dumb that hunter has to explain even his most basic deductions is getting really annoying. especially with captain blake, like, what's up with that??? you're telling me this woman became captain of the LAPD homocide division and doesn't know what it means when a serial killer has a specific type of victim?????? it's ridiculous

Edit- that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it! Really good!
Think I should get brownie points for not throwing up

I found this book hard to get into - unlike other Chris Carter books- but once I did, oh man! Another amazing read by Chris!
