Venetia Carter IS my boyfriend's ex to a tee.

Even better than Shopaholic & Sister.

Overall, the series' fifth book has turned out to be the greatest. It was quite lovely to follow Becky as she navigated her emotions, her life, and the ups and downs of pregnancy. It demonstrated that she is capable of developing and learning. Her sister Jess's addition, in my opinion, has something to do with this. A good portion of the plot made me laugh aloud. The appearance of Luke's ex-girlfriend added just the right amount of drama without being overly campy. This one gives me hope that the rest of the series can grow into something great.

Not my favorite of the series. This one borders more on the side of whiny then the more fantastical fun of the books prior in the series. It's almost a step back in the development of the central character especially given she is about to be a mom. Still makes a fun beach read but it's skippable.

I have to admit, I was surprised that Becky decided to have a baby so soon after her comment about Suze’s childbirth experience (where she said she definitely didn’t want kids anytime soon). But okay, life takes unexpected turns!

It was amusing to watch Becky nervously trying to figure out how to shop like a proper mom. It was heartwarming to see her whole family so excited about the baby’s arrival. And all those attempts to find out the baby’s gender were absolutely hilarious.

As for Venetia Carter, she’s definitely not a "girls' girl." What a cow! Alicia Bitch-Long Legs can take a vacation. I had a feeling she knew exactly what she was doing, but I didn’t expect her to be so downright conniving. And Luke—wow, he was so blind to all her manipulations. It’s hard to believe he’s so successful in business when he was so easily fooled. Holding hands with her? I was in shock.

As usual, Becky was right all along, despite everyone else doubting her. But even with all the chaos, everything was still incredibly funny.

I’m really happy for Tom and Jess. We got to see new sides of both characters, and I appreciated how they developed.

But despite my frustration with Luke, I still love him and Becky as a couple. No matter how angry I get at Luke, he always manages to melt my heart. I dream of having a man like him in my life. He’s so caring, and in the end, he managed to set everything right.

The book is incredibly heartwarming and, even in the sad moments, it’s filled with humor, just as you’d expect from Sophie Kinsella.

This was an amazing read. This is my eleventh Sophie Kinsella story, and fifth book of the Shopaholic series. I loved every minute of it. The humor in her stories makes the book more enjoyable. I loved Becky. She is a silly, yet lovable main female character. Luke is an amazing male character. He may be an entrepreneur, but I love how he is able to love Becky even though she has her flaws and quirks.

I really loved this book. We get to see more into the change of Becky's character. Like always, Becky is still the shopper that she is and does those crazy things. However, in this book, I saw Becky in a new light. She did not lie as much as she used to, and I think that made her character more relatable. Also, there was a more vulnerable side to her as she is pregnant. Hence, she is hormonal and more sensible. I really liked the ending and I love the way Luke defended Becky. It truly shows how much love and respect he has for her. Can't wait for Mini Shopaholic. Overall, a fantastic read.

A calm, quiet and peaceful time, that is what every pregnant woman expects or is supposed to get. I don't know if anyone had to go through the agonies that Becky suffered; may be a lot of them fear the same. After all, will there be a story without troubles? This novel can't be surpassed by other shopaholic novels in providing pure comic relief.
