I struggled with it in the beginning. I didn't like Eadlyn. I get that that was the point, but it was enough that the first half was very slow going. And of course I wish the story would have ended. Now I have to wait for the next one, which, of course I'll read. I can't wait.

Not my favourite in the series. I didn't like Eadlyn. America & Maxon seemed like completely different characters from the 1st 3 books. The plot felt like a rehash of the other 3 books and quite frankly, I don't care if she saves the kingdom because she doesn't deserve it. The story was a little too predictable too.
Having said all that, I will read the next book as if like to see if anything can be salvaged.
