This book DESTROYED me (in the best way possible).

SHAY AND KEY BOTH SUCK. They are both predatory and grooming Mina. IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR HER TO BE LEGAL YOURE A PEDO *full stop*.

& bc I am who I AM, obviously I love shay and am rooting for them. EVEN THO HES A CLASSIC NARCISSITC ABUSER AND PEDO.

I‘be read all the spoilers for the second book AND STILL, IDK IF I CAN HANG MAN. I REALLY DONT KNO

It’s a little too much a grooming and budding abusive situation and not enough getting out of that situation for me. It felt so realistic in its portrayal of the dread and hopelessness of an abusive situation, the coercion and how an abuser makes someone feel so isolated and like it’s their own fault and like another person’s mental stability is their responsibility.
