This was just about a 5 star for me, but as much as I like Troy as a narrator he just didnt quite get there with the Irish accent.
Bloody loved the characters in this book though and the humour was on point.
I cant wait to listen to the next book.

Sloane has met the devil: a blue-eyed, Irish mobster who blames her for starting a war. Fueled by a deep seated hatred, he’s accused her of consorting with his enemies and getting his men killed. Although Sloane is innocent on all charges, Declan wants his pound of flesh, and with her as his captive, he intends to take revenge. But as Sloane and Declan both discover, there are urges more powerful than revenge—and when the devil meets his match in his sworn enemy, that’s when the real war begins.

Intense, dark, and searingly hot, Carnal Urges is a thrilling read from start to finish. FMC Sloane is vibrant and sharp as a whip, her confidence and sass making for some of the funniest exchanges I’ve ever read as she clashed with MMC Declan’s ruthless, charismatic nature. They regularly had me cracking up with laughter to a point where I would consider this one of the funniest books I’ve ever read, even with the darker themes. Although Sloane could be annoying at times, I feel she deserves a spot on my list of all time favourite FMCs, whilst Declan is definitely in my top five of book boyfriends. I felt a great connection with both of them, enjoyed delving into their stories and all the twists and turns along the way, and was utterly enthralled by their romance, which was genuinely moving despite being undoubtedly volatile.

AHMAZING!!!

Sloane will go down as my favorite FMC in history! She is super witty, sassy, loyal, funny, badass and makes everyone fall in love with her. But she never returns their affection and doesn’t do boyfriends.
Declan is a stubborn man with many secrets whom is now the leader of the Irish Mafia.

They are utterly explosive together…which had me reading faster than ever before!

It ends on a cliffhanger and it looks like I won’t be sleeping until this series ends!

4✨ Another binge read with an extremely likeable, funny and kind FMC. The banter was so entertaining. The MMC is your typical moody, handsome, toxic mafia leader, more intense than the other characters in the other books. You will want to choke him for *some* of the stuff he says but that’s expected from a man of his stature, good thing the FMC is there to tone him down a notch!! Eventually that changes tho and there’s actually some character progression?! And Loveeee. I liked the intensity of the characters in this book, especially in with switch up from the Insta love.
Plot picked up towards the end and was VERY interesting. Had me on the edge of my seat!

❌ Some themes are getting ridiculously repetitive, apprehensive on starting the next books - not sure if i will. Smut wasn’t for me in this book, dialogue and tropes.
