Holy mama this was a roller coaster of a read. Right from the start I was hooked on the storyline. I mean who doesn’t love a sapphic retelling of a classic fairytale? From the beginning we meet Azura and know she’s got some kind of plan schemed up and then we meet our beloved Snow White. From their first encounter it’s clear these two are going to mean something to each other and I love it.

Azura is our wicked witch and Snow is our innocent princess just looking for a friend. Little does she know of the snake within the garden. They quickly become friends along in the grand scheme of winning the competition for Snow’s new step mother. Along the way they also become friends with non other then Belle. It’s quickly apparent that both Azura and Belle are apart of the lgbtq+ community with their flirty glances and the internal dialogues. Snow, our innocent and pure minded princess doesn’t understand her own thoughts or feelings for quite a well but then it becomes apparent she’s got romantic and sexual feelings for Azura, fully unaware that they are reciprocated.

By the middle of the book Azura is having an internal battle with wanting to be close to Snow and sticking to her plans. Eventually she caves in and they both give into their temptations but still our villainous is determined to push the innocent princess away but Snow refuses to give up on her. So what happens when two powerful magic wielding women fall in love and have to fight to be together? Well you’ll have to read the book to find out.

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Rose and Star Publishing LLC for providing me an advanced copy of Snow White.

To say I loved this book is an understatement. I love retellings (I am very excited for book 2) and a sapphic one is even better. This book is 90 per cent smut or smutty thoughts etc, so if you expecting a lot of plot, sorry. It is the perfect reading slump book and I just adored it.

I loved the characters and although I thought the ending was very rushed, I still massively enjoyed it and the dynamic going on within. I literally have just downloaded Jeanette's entire bibliography soooooo....

This book had me hooked from the beginning- the characterisations were incredible. It’s an interesting twist on the typical fairytale and definitely worth a read!

Snow White was a quick and sweet read! It’s the first book in the Ever After series.
It has dual pov and it follows Snow White, a sweet albeit naïve princess with ice and snow magic, whose father, the King, decides to host all eligible ladies and princesses in his palace in the hopes of finding a new wife.
Among the ladies, there’s Azura. Snow is immediately captivated by her — and so is Azura with Snow! They quickly form a friendship, which soon will turn into love. But Azura’s reasons for showing up aren’t as pure as Snow might think.

I loved reading about Snow’s ARC — she went from being this naïve girl to recognizing her powers, and, more importantly, to accepting them. They only thing I didn’t like about her is how clingy she was.
My biggest pet peeve was Azura having sex with another character even after meeting Snow.
Azura was absolutely whipped and I loved that! But I wish the conflict between her and Snow was prolonged a bit more, because I felt it was resolved way too quickly.

Nonetheless, I really liked this book and look forward to the future installments in the series!

I requested this as I enjoy reading retellings. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this version. I did like that characters from other fairy tales were in this book, but that was about it.
The first few pages were good and the Azura makes a crass comment and I am thinking to myself, who even thinks like that?! I move on and it seems to be more of the same, from then on, I struggled, and when the action in the bedroom between Azura and another person happened it just put me off completely.
Sadly, this was not for me.

So,
i loved this so much, Azura and Snow are so amazing !!!!
the way they’d do anything for each other seriously has my heart. The way they just NEED each other..UGH love that.

Also, let me tell you, the amount of times i fangirled because of the characters in this, i got SO excited seeing characters i grew up loving, it seriously made things so much better.

But i will say, i really really wish they would have touched up on some things even more because it did feel kinda rushed.
I would not mind at all if this book was like 800 pages honestly, i would have loved to see just a tad bit more, BUT i still loved it !!!!
