Oh Georgina. You should know better. For an immortal, you certainly get your hopes up really high about things and then they all come crashing down. Honestly, I used to really love Seth, but he's starting to fade from my that affection. I think there was just too much betrayal in this book for me to be ok with it all. Sure, I like Seth and Georgina together, but it's just not in the cards for them, sorry to say it. Everytime they get together, they screw over someone else, like Maddie or Dante. And I feel bad for the people around them that get caught in the aftermath. Sigh! But I do love Dante, I hope I haven't seen the last of him after the battle to free Jerome. And I don't care if it's real or not, Jerome and Carter are a thing in my head. I'll reserved judgement on Roman's presence until I've seen more of it, but thus far, I don't hate him being back. Ugh, all these men. This book should be called the brodeo series.

It is becoming very clear that this series is one of my favorites. Again, I started this book and never put it down until I finished.

There are so few books where you really wish you could live inside that book. Whether you were just a by-stander or actually a character. And my-oh-my do I ever wish I could be Georgina. Okay, maybe not so much all the drama and craziness that she gets herself wrapped up into, but Seth. Ugh, I LOVE HIM!!

There were so many different angles of this story that I didn't predict anything. Normally I tend to sort my "bad" characters from the "good" ones. More or less, picking the one I think is behind all the madness but I was honestly blindsided. I never expected those things to happen.

Along with more craziness and more love and heartbreak, I can't even come to terms with writing a long review with every aspect of what I loved, what I hated, what shocked me etc etc. Words can't even begin to reveal how much I love this series.

My hope for Seth and Georgina will never die.

;)

Part of me wants to dog on this series, but I keep picking up the next one, so I suppose the joke is on me. Mostly I find the covers and the titles and embarrassing - Ha! - but the characters are well developed, flawed, and fun. The main relationship does fall into the romance/relationship book trope of "if they would just tell eachother how they actually feel instead of trying to 'protect' the other one everything would probably work just fine" but I suppose boring, calm, healthy relationships don't sell books. I want to get to know Peter, Cody, and Hugh better. I like the friends.
