I just loved Kieran so much. He is such a good guy but he did get a bit frustrating when he denied himself his mate.
I loved Sister Liana too and i actually loved what led her to the Sisters. I'm sure i wouldn't enjoy the book this much if she truly wanted to be devoted to her faith from the very beginning. That's not to say she wasn't devoted as a Sister but her time there was penance for something else.
I liked the little "road trip" to get to out guys and i can't wait to read the next one.

4,5 Sterne.

This was so amazingly romantic I had a hard time actually doing work during the day! I wanted to get back to the book so badly that I was reading in between assignments and read all through my lunch break. I felt an instant connection to the hero and heroine, and my heart was beating wildly every time they had a scene together. Their attraction was so poignant and lovely, and I really couldn't ask for a better romance than this. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and I wondered if this one would top it - and oh, boy, did it! I want my own Morgon man. Anytime now...I am waiting patiently.

Sister Liana hasn't been able to stop thinking about the handsome Morgon man being sheltered at the convent. But she has a secret she's been hiding that would make a relationship between them impossible. With smoldering eyes and a charming smile, Kieren Moonring is slowly winning Liana's heart, and he knows he has found something special in the shy, kind sister who has been nursing him back to health. But his life is in danger, and in admitting to his desire for her, he could be putting her in danger too. Even though he fights it, his feelings for her grow stronger, and when tragedy strikes, they are thrown together. Sparks fly and a love long smothered ignites into a fire that cannot be denied.

I felt so many emotions as I read about both Liana's past and Kieren's love for her. It was so beautiful, how they fought it for so long and came together in their dreams. Morgons of the Moonring clan have the ability to dreamwalk, and so their romance began long before Liana realized it was not just a figment of her hopes and imagination. And when their pasts became known to each other, it was inspiring to see how they worked through things and healed together, as a unit. Their relationship was so strong and had a lot of depth from the very beginning. There was a particular scene that I really enjoyed, and it was one of hugging. As a hugger myself, I can personally attest to how it feels when you get a hug after not having one for a very long time. It's so comforting and soothing, and Juliette Cross did a fantastic job conveying the emotion such simple affection between two people. The writing was beautiful.

I can't wait to see where this series goes from here! Each book seems to be better than the last, and I am eager to see where the author takes us next.

**I received a free copy from the author and this is my honest review.**

I have been following Juliette Cross for a while and it was about time I picked up one of her books! I was provided an arc of Dragon Fire to review and share my thoughts. Dragon Fire is book 3 in the Vale of Star series and follows the story line of Kieran and Liana. Although this is the 3rd book in the series it can be read as a standalone (which I did) but I highly recommend reading the full series because it’s just so amazing!

Alright let’s get onto the review. Right off, I loved the story line. It was so interesting following Kieran and Liana’s side to the story and how they interacted with the dangerous world around them. All the banter among the female characters, that were introduced in the story, was hilarious! It definitely added a humorous side to the book.

Any ways let’s talk about Kieran… what an amazing guy yet so stubborn. It took him so long to figure out Liana likes him haha. It was so cool that Keiran could communicate to those he is close to through ‘dreamscaping!’ Plus, he is so badass, loyal and sweet how could you not love him.

So Liana… she was an interesting character. She was nice and everything and I didn’t dislike her yet she wasn’t my fave. However, when you start to read the book, you realize she is not *as* weak as she seems when you learn about her past and realize she became a Sister of Light by need not choice.

The relationship between Kieran and Liana was written really nicely and there was definitely a lot of chemistry between the two. Kieran was the perfect guy for her and is understanding and protective whenever she faces troubles.

Overall this was an amazing read and I need to read more books by Juliette Cross asap! This book definitely did not disappoint!

Thanks for reading!

This is book 3 of this series, and I can’t get enough! The chemistry between Kieran and Liana had me burning up with soulfire. The war with the Blood King is getting so dangerous, who can the main characters trust? Can’t wait for book 4!
