Enfin j’ai décider des lire le seigneur des anneaux pour la première fois et je ne suis pas déçu. La seule raison pourquoi je n’ai pas donné cinq étoiles est à cause de toutes les chansons présentes qui se l’on moi, distrait trop de l’intrigue principal

i enjoyed this book! i knew the plot slightly from watching the films but couldn't really remember much of what was happening which was nice. kept me engaged.

i really like the characters, much more than the plot. much of the plot of this book is just walking from place to place with very little happening. but the hobbits are so funny and the rest of the company are so ready to make fun of them at every opportunity lol. its great.

some moments of genuine tension with the black riders. lovely time staying with the elves.

im excited to study this book in my fantasy module!
