I found the writing to be extremely repetitive. Like characters repeated themselves a lot but then also same thing was said by each character multiple times. Just felt drawn out with less room for actual stuff to happen.

Well written and narrated. This book is largely just smut in the middle, it was actually getting kind of tedious. And the ending was super angsty. A third act breakup and the characters intentionally trying to hurt each other instead of communicating. I kind of like them less by the end of the book.

DNF at 30%.

I don't get the attraction. The story seemed okay, but the instant attraction is killing me. I know men are capable of thinking with their brain even if they are horny. But it's not the case here.

A bit spoilery: it became too much when one guy still could only think of doing dirty, dirty things to the other even after the other one's been beaten up and could barly see out his eyelids. Like, come on.

I'm much happier with the author's more recent books.

Couldn’t get through this one. Unlikable characters and the plot is boring.

This book was going along just fine, and then took a bananas turn that would have made Mary Calmes proud.

4.5⭐️ After a couple chapters in I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book but I ended up loving it. The story got better as it went along. The writing was decent and although there were some flaws, I was able to look past them because I absolutely adored all the characters. Both Michael and Josh were relatable, sweet, and lovable. Their chemistry was fire.

This book was ok! I genuinely wanted to know their story but around the halfway mark I started feeling like the story was dragging on. I ended up fast forwarding through the second half to get the information I wanted.

A part of me was annoyed that Michael ran…. Twice and Josh flew out to get him back. Also (mini spoiler) what’s the deal with Simon knowing that Josh was at the door but he still wrapped Michael up in a long ass hug, knowing that it would look intimate from an outsiders perspective.

4.0-4.5 stars.

Honestly a very steller, cute romance with just the right amount of comedy, angst, and spice.
