My life is so the 100 orientated right now and I have no qualms about that. This third and final (nooo) book of this AMAZING series is by far my favourite, due to the action, suspense, tension and excitement, I love it all! I like the Clarke/Bellamy/Wells dynamic in this book, really cool stuff. The Bellarke was beautiful as with the previous two books, we are so blessed! All in all, a very good series, different from the show, which I have lots of love for but I have no problems with the differences. If all the stuff that kicks off in the show was crammed into books, it would be mayhem! The slightly slower (sort of) pace of the books works for the literary medium. These books are fab, whether you've seen the show or not.

Is this book a masterpiece? No. Is it entertaining? Yes.
So while the story and characters aren’t super fleshed out, they’re good enough that I keep coming back. Plus, it helps that I really enjoyed the show.
So… at the end, Rhodes admits he’s messed up and concedes his power. I’m sorry, but if homeboy was actually as power hungry as he was made out to be… he wouldn’t have done that.
Also, Glass is pregnant… again! Like girl, did you not learn from the first time?!

I’m glad I didn’t read this when it was first released, because there are so many open ended plot points I would have been very irritated finishing and NOT knowing there would be another in this series.
I love the relationship between Bellamy and Clark. Bellamy accepts that Clark is a strong, independent woman in her own right, doesn’t need his protection, and can be trusted to take care of herself. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to protect her, only that he knows it’s not his job. Vice versa holds true as well. This is a terrific example of a healthy relationship for teens.
I did not care for Luke and Glass’ relationship at all. Glass seemed incredibly useless and actually did need protection. Not only needed it, but wanted it. I know this not unrealistic, but it’s not an example I want my teenage daughter taking to heart.
This was a fairly satisfying addition to the series, but I really want to read the next. The ending opens this new _______spoiler_______ and gives no explanation and seems to happen with no work on the part of those involved. I want to see how that plays out.
