I saw this on a list of books recommended to people who have suicidal tendencies. I couldn’t quite understand why but it gave me the nudge to read this book after I’ve been curious about it for years.

Now that I have, I understand.

Easily one of the best books I’ve read.

The story is quite all over the place but what is there to expect when the author himself is racing the inevitable?

This book had me ugly crying at the end but also filled me with a sense of appreciation of the delicacy of human life. the fragility of our existence is what makes it special. it’s what makes it worth it. if there was only beginning and no end, we’d have no reason to be.

While it’s not some life changing read or anything, the ordinary makes it extraordinary
