Cute book that has gotten me in the mood for Christmas - what's Thanksgiving anyways?

All She Wants for Christmas is a book about a second chance of love. In it, you will meet Riley and Ethan. They dated for a while in High School, until the day everything changed for them. With on rotten mistake, their lives were changed. Riley walked into her best friends room and say her and Ethan, naked and in bed. Right then and there, she ran. Ran away from her home and life in that small town. Left without looking back.

Wow, this book through a lot at me. First, I loved Ethan and Riley but I totally felt for them too. Yeah, mistakes were made. Okay, a shit ton of mistakes but they eventually found each other. So long story short, Ethan married Amanda (the ex-best friend) and they eventually had a kid named Zoey. Now she was adorable.. but months (maybe years) Amanda dies. So now it's just Ethan and Zoey and they are cute and shit.

Then there's Riley who is a famous singer now. She's dreading the day that she has to come back to her home town. Yikes, this place has a ton of bad memories and she thinks the whole town hates her. WELL, that was the complete opposite. They loved Riley and absolutely hated Ethan and Amanda. Mostly because once Riley's first album came out.. they all knew the dirty laundry.

Of course it was a bitter sweet kind of meeting, but the sparks and chemistry were still there! Once they hashed things out like children, I mean adults (but honestly.. it was a lot of yelling) they finally got over everything. The whole truth was out in the open and basically everyone in that god damn town knew that they loved each other still. The love was always there and I doubt it would've gone away for them.

Overall, it was a very cute book. I'm happy that they got back together but thought that the whole engagement/making babies comment was WAY too early. She's been back for like what.. 3 days and it's already a thing?? Nope. Slow ya roll guys!!

I think the other two books are about his brothers and I can't wait to dive into them!

I enjoyed this for a few reasons. Firstly, it was exactly what I wanted. I've read other novels by this same author and I know what she's capable of; this short novel was everything I love minus some of the things I didn't care for in her longer ones. I liked the characters' history even if I did find it to be a bit on the outrageous side. But, again, this was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a cheesy Christmas book, and that's what this was. With the exception of some minor timeline and conflicting facts I was really pleased.

This book was fine. I guess I’m not a huge fan of Christmas romances because I never really get into them. Maybe because so many of them are novellas? But once in a while, there’s a really good one, so I keep trying. This one wasn’t that, but I can see how people might really enjoy it.

I was more intrigued by one of the other brothers, so I’ll be reading that one soon.

Full of inconsistencies, and I just didn't like what Ethan had done. I felt the author urned what could have been a gripping premise for a book into a fluffy read.

I loved this book. It had everything I needed to remind me of the true meanings of the holidays: love, family, forgiveness and healing.

I'm a sucker for any kind of Christmas story, put a lost love rekindled on top of that and I'm in heaven! Riley Jensen thought that no one in her hometown would have the time of day for her or for the biography that was being done about her. She dreaded seeing Ethan and Amanda, the two most important people in her life 10 years ago, that had betrayed her in the worst possible way. What she finds is something very different, not at all what she was expecting.

Ethan was just there to greet Riley because his daughter was a huge fan. At least that's what he keeps telling everyone and himself. Seeing her though proves that he's still has feelings for her. Now he's in self preservation mode, he can't let her get close because she's going to leave and take his heart and his daughters heart with him.

It was a super easy read. They are a great couple, and I was glad to see how they could work through all their issues. On to read number two in this series, the feature is Ethan's brother Wyatt.
