This was a lovely little holiday novella! I enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading the next full length one.

We love a slice of life. That's what's great about this - it's a total break from the intense plot of the rest of the series so far.

Misses 4 stars for me because the book, while a good & easy read, missed a depth that would have pushed it over the top. Really liked it though!

This was kinda like a filler novel in the series. Doesn’t really move the plot much though it does have important pieces that feed into the next book.

I liked this novella a lot as a break before jumping back into the midst of things. It was a nice wrap up to the previous war they all faced and felt more like a “get to know more about each personal relationship” book. It was a nice light read after having 3 back to back large reads. The vibes were really light and funny which I appreciated.

I liked how a lot of the stories were wrapped up and how some new ones are beginning to emerge and how it will lead into the next book.

I’m excited to learn more about Mor in this next book, if her storyline gets played out a bit more. I’m also really interested to see what happens with Nesta and Cassian.

I did rate it slightly lower just because it was less dramatic and didn’t offer the politics I enjoyed in the past few novels.
