So so cute. I loved it. I really enjoyed the passion of the characters and how they were undivided with each other from the beginning. It all wrapped up really nicely. This book (on TikTok by a creator not the author) was advertised as a pregnancy trope book which it wasn’t because a pregnancy only happened in the last chapter so I was kind of disappointed but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Great read

I love love love this book!

Ava and Colton are just the most endearing MCs I've come across in a long time. They have tension, banter, spice, and sweetness. So they have it all!

This was my first enemies with benefits, and I am a fan!

The way these two were so closed off and guarded was so realistic to me. Anastasija masterfully captured the feelings and reactions in a way that had my heart full.

Ava was just such an inspiration with her ability to stand up for herself and not take crap from anyone. Colton just made my heart melt with his past issues.

The side characters were also either very likable or completely despicable.

Ava and her dad's relationship was so precious and open. I adored it. The twist that involved him I did not see coming, but made me so happy!

I definitely need to know what the hell happened with Layla and Clay... and also what all is going on with Layla.

I'm hoping to get some answers in the next instalment which I CANNOT WAIT for! Drake was so sexy. I almost wanted a "sister's best friend" romance out of this. I'm glad it went the way it did, and I'm so ready to read about Drake and his new feisty neighbor!

If you like hockey romances; than this is a must read!

There's no cheating. MCs both sleep with or fool around with others before getting together, but it's not done in a cringy way. No OW/OM drama once our MC get together.

I really need to stop read books because of single out of context quotes I see on instagram.

Ok I knew this was going to be bad when the college hockey captain was talking about people being under his protection. Like bro you’re not fkn Al Capone.

Overall it was a funny read, most of the dialog and storyline seemed completely inorganic to me, but you have to enjoy these things for what they are. The fmc was pretty unlikable and we never got an excuse for why. The only one with any character depth was Colton, but we didn’t even get that until after half way through.

Also how the hell are Ava and Layla just constantly going shopping, it’s like the author couldn’t think of anything else female friends might do together… where the hell are they getting all this money from?!

Lighthearted read but don’t really recommend.

 Tropes:
- College Sports Romance🏒
- Enemies to Lovers
- Strong FMC
- Trauma Past
- He Falls First
- Found Family

Anastasija killed this enemies to lovers trope!! I had a hard time putting this book down! Sleep wasn’t a thing while I was reading this.

Sin-Bin is the first book in the Sinners on the Ice series following Colton & Ava. Colton is the closed off, playboy senior star of the hockey team. Ava is a freshman who is best-friends with the captain of the hockey team’s sister. Colton & Ava get off on the wrong foot when they first meet. Colton is set on making her life miserable. However, Ava refuses to let it get to her and fights back, which makes this enemies to lover pure perfection. BUT towards the end, I didn’t see that coming and was such a great surprised!! I don’t want to spoil it so you will just have to read it yourself 😉

This book had all the spicy OMG 😩🥵 the mouth on Colton had me all hot and bothered. I cannot wait to read Drake’s story in Barn Burner releasing on October 17th!!
