I find myself reading books recently by people who are in their 80s or about that. It's interesting to see the perspective of people looking back on long lives lived, and I liked that this book took the focus of Gratitude. Four short essays and less than 50 pages, I think I will start celebrating birthdays like Mr. Sacks.

It's been many years since I last read an Oliver Sacks book (Music ) and I think I need to go back and revisit his oeuvre- beautifully and simply put a reflection on life and death

Final essays from beloved neurologist, Oliver Sacks, reflecting on being 80, and then on his approaching death. Reflective and cherished by those who appreciate his work.

A lovely collection. Sacks is such a pleasing writer; I miss him and am glad to have his perspective on his own passing. I only wish it were longer!

A very short book of heartwarming essays by the late Sacks, who has had quite a marvellous career and an unusual life. A nice quick rainy day read.

I miss Mr. Sacks. I wish I can find in myself the gratitude and energy for the kind of beautiful life he shared with this world.
