My people in Christ- this series left me, an asexual, definitely polycurious and yet again aching to be able and meet fictional characters irl.

I think The Losers series will always hold a special place in my heart because it was so easy and natural to love each of the characters in a unique way. Manson, Vincent, Jason and Lucas felt so real to me and my heart aches a little that I can’t meet the guys irl. Yes, I went into this expecting moral-grayness, and yes I have a thing for troubled and sometimes broken characters but the development they went through -especially in this book- was outstanding and very realistic. They all deserve all the happiness.

There are only two minor flip-sides for me, both are personal opinions and/or preferences.
The first (1) ist definitely just a personal opinion- I started this series for the moral-grayness and dubious protagonists. But the development and healing they went through took that a little away. The second (2) one is both a flip-side and a good solution for that-I am never a fan of a pregnancy trope or mention or the topic in general in any way BUT I actually appreciate the way the author resolved it here. Very slight mention, no big deal.

How many ways can I say I completely love a book? In book 2 we’re back with Jess and the guys as things heat up. Here we truly get to see how individual relationships heal and strengthen while the plot thickens with Manson’s father. The spice was positively filthy in the best way, but the growth of these characters is was truly made this a five star read for me. I’ll never stop talking about this duet!

I absolutely loved this book and everything about it. I can't get over how good the relationships are between all of the characters. I love how close all of the guys are and that they all have little relationships with each other. I've never read a polygamous group quite like this one but I absolutely loved it. The chemistry in this group is phenomenal.

I also love seeing the correct development in Jess. I loved watching her come into herself and start to not care what anyone says or does to her. I love how she finally stands up for herself with all the people who don't like that she's with the guys. I loved that she's figuring out who her real friends are. Julia and Ashley are amazing. I'm glad that Jessica had such good friends in those two.

One thing I will say is that there are a lot of spicy scenes in this book but I felt that it really worked for this book. Every single scene in this book is different. No two scenes are the same which I think makes it work so well. I never felt the need to skim through any of the scenes or chapters. There's also a pretty good plot line in this story and I think that also helps balance things out.

Overall I absolutely adored this book and the whole duet. I would definitely recommend this book.

I feel terrible for this review because I love Harley LaRoux’s books but I had to put this down I was getting bored. I can completely understand how some people would love this book, but for me personally, I need some plot/intrigue - even in spicy books. This series could have just been one book as the plot didn’t really go anywhere. This one felt dragged out. I took a break and read a few books in between and when I came back to it I really struggled.

I really like the characters and enjoyed some of the spice but it felt very formulaic and predictable. The Dare will forever be one of my favourite books and this series was missing the almost unbearable anticipation that The Dare had.

Pros: the sex scene in the holiday cabin was hot as fuck, the author writes consent so well, I really like the characters.

Cons: the plot was weak, sex scenes felt repetitive, a penis gets called a “glans”….!

Picks up right after Part 1 and boy ph boy is just as good if not better!!!
5 stars for ratings and 10 outta 10 for spice!!
The character developments as well as the revelations are as delectable as the kinks on display!!!
In this book revenge and healing are the main tropes in my opinion. The boys spend the entirety of the book fighting back the same scumbags they've been fighting for YEARS. However, things get heavier when the dickhead jocks (mainly Alex & Nate) cant help themselves in their ploy to destroy Manson's small family by going after Jess.
BIG MISTAKE!!!!
Everything escalates in Book 2. From accused of shoplifting and classist profiling to clear attempted mardar and harrassment that becomes the final straw that breaks the camel's back for the group so they go right up to them and unleash years worth of anger and frustration and pain to make their point very very clear. Fuck with one, you fuck with ALL!!! (Gawd that's frigging hot!!!)
But in the wind of all the pain and turmoil Jess brings peace and calm after the storm by, in her own way, showing each man that they are loved and appreciated and they deserve every ounce of it that they get.
Not only was the plot exceptional, but the spice level in this book was through the fricking bgg roof!!! Kinks galore and fantasy fulfillment without end had me gasping and clutching my imaginary Pearls in almost every single chapter!!!
The author definitely wrapped up this 3 part story in the most delicious and perfect little bow with the best HEA ending I've read in a while. Can't wait to read the other stories she's written.

wow, this book. Slapped me in the face and called me a horny single bitch in so many different ways. It’s kinky, it’s fluffy, it’s emotional and so deliciously filthy. Top tier characters, beautiful execution. I loved it.
