This book was a bit of a mixed bag for me. At some points I quite enjoyed it and really wanted to find out what was happening, but at others it felt like it was dragging and the twists were a bit obvious.

When Jules Bright is met with the news that the monster that is Amelia Quentin is being released from prison, she hardly knows what to do. She's convinced she could be in danger, and thus begins a journey back into the past where we travel through Jules' life with her up to the point where Amelia ruined everything. Now that Amelia's out, Jules must decide whether she wants to give into her dark need for revenge, or stick to the law.

There were parts of this I loved: I was intrigued to find out *exactly* what Amelia had done, and it did keep me turning the pages, however it was quite obvious from early on in the book loosely what had happened. I did feel some connection with the characters, and I thought they were well written, but the style of the book with the different timeframes was something I didn't really enjoy.

Jules has had her life turned upside down. She finds herself alone after a big tragedy.

Then, a detective arrives at her door to tell her that Amelia, the girl who ruined her life, is being released from prison after only being incarcerated for 3 years. And she's moving right back to the town where Jules lives.

The book then starts telling little bits of Jules' past, leading up to the big tragedy. It was a riveting story that I flew through really quickly. Very hard hitting. I was maybe just expecting a little bit of something more hectic at the end, but I still really enjoyed this one, a very gripping thriller.

Krążą jednak wokół siebie, a kiedy w końcu nastąpi konfrontacja… Trudno przewidzieć, co się wtedy stanie. I kto wyjdzie
z tego pojedynku bez szwanku.

The book started with a really good chapter. Then it was so hard to understand what was going on for a while.
The story was good, however I feel like not all the main characters were developed well.

I enjoyed the premise and plot to this book but I felt bombarded with too much information. At times it was hard to keep track of all of the characters and I'd have preferred to spend time understanding the key characters instead. I wasn't completely happy with the ending, it seemed rushed which was a shame.

I really dont like this book. The writing need to be work on and the paced of plot was too slow for my liking. This book was dull and boring also the cover of book was okay. I didn't like charaters and the charaters were flat.
