I didn’t realize I needed some Wizard of Oz spicy retelling until I read this book, lol. This book is definitely a step in the right direction after Scarred. This is another book where it’s written at a lower level but not in a bad way. It’s an enjoyable quick read. I tore through this book. I loved all the Easter eggs throughout the book. I loved what Emily did with the ruby slippers, the flying money, the yellow brick road, Dorthy and the Wicked Witch. The ending was great.
