Really loved this book. It had many twists and turns that I did not see coming and a few that I had figured out early on but didn't detract from the story at all. If you're a fan of paranormal fiction or just like a good ghost story then you can't go wrong with this book. I loved the characters and found myself pulling for them from the very beginning. I am so excited to read the next book.

This was amazing! Creepy, scary and well written. A cast of believable, well written and developed characters. Better than any Stephen King novel I've read.
I will definitely be reading the sequel and as many other books by Aiden James that I can get my hands on!

This book freaked me out in places, but the characters were unbelievable at times.

The perfect family of perfect kids and perfect husband and wife was so unrealistic, cheesy, and forced that it actually made it hard to read.
There was clearly no research done on doctors, detectives, or even regional differences. There's a point where the detectives illegally search a house, then decide they need to bring their crime scene unit over. Instead of securing the area, they just ask the family to please leave it alone until they come back later. That was the point I almost put down the book for good.

I have always been a fan of Scary Thrillers. I didn't know what to expect when I first started reading this book and I was quite surprised when this book actually gave me the chills and made me jump! It's been awhile since I have read a book that caused these emotions! I loved every minute of it!!! For those of you out there that love a great scary read, I recommend this book!!

Overall great book it kept me wanting more details. Without any spoilers there was one scene which I could have done without but the book was worth accepting that. I can't wait to read the next book.

Holy smokes! I couldn’t put this book down! After struggling to find something to catch my attention after my last book, I picked this up with no intention of loving it as much as I did. I haven’t read a scary book like this in a long while. This one kept me looking over my shoulder and keeping the light on beside my bed at night.

David Hobbs and his family seem like the normal Leave-It-To-Beaver type. Everybody is happy-go-lucky and their life is seemingly perfect. But after David and his wife Miriam return to CO from a weekend getaway in Gatlinburg, TN, they unknowingly bring more with them than their luggage. From this moment on, all hell breaks loose. Will returning to Gatlinburg fix this problem or only make it worse?

I can’t wait for you to read and find out. Just don’t read with the lights off

Although only slightly scary, this was a still good ghost story. I enjoyed the supernatural elements but didn't warm so much to the standard squeaky clean American family. They were okay but not overly interesting, which took away somewhat from the impact of their haunting.

This scared me. I tend to read a lot at night, before bed, and that was a bad idea with this book. Maybe that enhanced the fright factor, but I think if I read it in the daytime, I still would feel the same. I'm now a fan of Aiden James and look forward to reading the second book in the series. But not right away, I need a break from scary. Maybe I'll read a mushy love story next!

Not bad for a ghost horror book. Unfortunately, it wasn't really what I was in the mood to read.
