It just hit the spot for all the things I needed at this point in the month, and had all my favorite Ruby Dixon goodies: grumpy hero, sassy but vulnerable heroine, forced proximity, slow burn romance, protective male with a sensitive side... it was great. The characters grow together and it was just a really sweet, and believable, love story.
