Good sequel. I will definitely be reading the third one. Love the dark Alice in Wonderland theme.

I love when I pick a random book series in a free library that hits right. The Splintered series by AG Howard is a complete series in the Audible Plus catalog right now. The first one was good. This one was so much better. I refused to give up my phone for my kiddo to play Roblox because I was invested. The story line explores the descendants of Alice, specifically Alyssa, as she fights wanting to stay here in the human realm with her beloved boyfriend Jeb, who is all things good, and going back to Wonderland to take her place as Queen with childhood friend and Bae, Morpheus. In the second book, Wonderland comes to us and maybe attacks prom. The creatures aren't familiar Alice and Wonderland - definitely more fae. More disturbing.

Loved it. Can't wait to see what happens when Alyssa's dark knight and white knight have to work together to survive whatever Red has in store for them. Wish there was a book, like Moth in the Mirror, that described their experience s while out of Alyssa's view.
