I didn’t like it as much as the first one because there was too much of the romance with Father Tim and Cynthia, but it still made me want to keep reading it.

I enjoyed this book more than the first. About the lives of the rector and his congregation in mitford. What I didn't like, was the inclusion of (albeit only a few mentions) of bad language, which I don't expect to see in Christian Fiction books.

Read this as my bedtime story. These books aren't plot heavy, but the characters are cozy and I enjoy spending time with them in Mitford before dropping off to sleep.

Not a bad read...sometimes slow but overall wholesome

I'd read this one before. Now that I know the main characters a bit, I think it's better. Cute.

I first read this book when I was 10 or something because my mom forgot what the main plot was. Thankfully, most of it went right over my head, but reading it now I'm amazed that I read and enjoyed this at such a young age. Not the best of the Mitford books IMO, but still Mitford, so still wonderful. 3.5 stars.
