The beginning was good - 3 stars at least. But it should have ended there. It was already long enough to be a short romance and they could have just been happy together in the woods - no need for the other side characters. Maybe the second half of the book will end up being good, but so far it’s just overused, cringey nicknames and a completely far fetched storyline that I’m so unattached to I have to force myself to read each word. I don’t even like either of the characters anymore and I honestly don’t understand how half of this is happening so quickly after she went through such heavy, heavy trauma. It’s just unrealistic in every single aspect. I haven’t DNF’d in a year… it wasn’t for lack of trying!

Absolutely loved getting to know the brothers more.
Winter is absolutely a badass and she deserves all the amazing things.
Niccoli won my heart over in this book.
Hoping to get a Frankie book someday

Amazing story other than the nicknames. It is just me personally, I cringed every time he said it. It is still a five star read.

Beautiful Savage is the story of Nicoli and Winter.

We were first introduced to Nicoli in Beautiful Carnage, so I would recommend reading that first due to the crossover characters and interconnected storyline.

Both Nicoli and Winter have lived tragic lives and together they will fight their demons.

Nicoli is dealing with the secret that was revealed in Beautiful Carnage (that he is the brother of the presumed dead brother of the Romero's), and hiding from his true family by moving to the mountains which is where he finds Winter.

Winter lost everything the day she was kidnapped. She loses her memories and her voice.
Now she is free but lost in the wild, snowy mountains until she is found by Nicoli.

Regardless of the torture she was put through Winter has come out as a strong survivor and is not willing to let anyone make decisions for her anymore. She now has one objective. To find and destroy "The Five" who held her captive.

They are both able to stay in their own secure little bubble for a time until someone recognises Winter. We then get a bigger plot twist and secrets revealed.

You get more of Frankie and Enzo and I can't wait for their stories.
