Huge plot twists, definitely one that keeps you on your toes. If you think it's one person, it's more than likely not them. Definitely a re-read, a great murder mystery!

Enjoyable plot. I’d figured out the killer early on due to conventional techniques used but there were a few times where it made me doubt. Well written and Luke was an enjoyable narrator. His past added a nice explanation for his abilities which doesn’t always happen.

I really wish I had more to say about this book, but nothing happened. I understand this is YA book but man was it boring. Someone dies in the first 30 pages and nothing happens until the ending. We follow Luke (I think?) after a teacher was found murdered on campus and it just so happens his friend group was just feet away. Throughout the novel we follow him as he suspects everyone around him and he gets an eire feeling someone is following him. There never was a strong feeling of foreboding or suspence and by the time the ending rolled around I was desperate for action. But then we get a lackluster ending that checks off all of the cliches and ends on the possibility a second book might be coming soon. I really was disappointed but I can't rate it any lower because middle school me would have eaten that shit up!

Quick easy YA murder mystery, I enjoyed the setting at the prep school I feel like it made it a little bit more ominous feeling. It has a lot of twists and turns and really had me playing along trying to guess who did it.
Moderate: Death, Kidnapping, and Murder

This is a good book to read to get out of a book slump. Its intriguing from the very beginning. However I do feel as if the ending of the book was a little rushed. < spoiler : I wish the author would’ve have included Oscar more in the ending >

I was right! It definitely wasn’t obvious, but if you looked hard enough you could figure it out. Granted, I wasn’t 100 percent sure, but still. Loved the touch of romance too.
