I loved this book when I was younger. I read this special
Pop up edition it to my 10 yo for the first time and he loved it as well, though it doesn’t hold up as well for me anymore.

A children’s book I’ve always meant to read and now I actually have. Some lovely ideas about taming things and people and about what we are looking for and what we leave behind.

A children's book that I had toiled through with my horrid French language skills. The ending was so sad and the Prince so special. I love the illustrations and the Prince's poignant views on the incessant nature of adulthood.
