The storyline of this entire series is really great, but the writing doesn't really appeal to me. So 3 stars for the whole series. The story deserves 4 (although I saw the ending coming since the beginning of book 3, before the characters even realised it), but because of the writing I decided to go for 3 stars total.

3.5 Stars, only bc there was so much information that truly could have been taken out. Still great adventure.

After the previous book, this one flew by! I'm pretty happy with how it ended, even though
Spoileras soon as Theron gave up the dagger, I knew that was how they were going to close the magic chasm, not by Meira sacrificing herself.
There were also more than a few characters who felt like they died for dramatic effect purely because this was the last book, but my complaints end there. Having the finale resolve itself by the main character learning self-love and forgiveness as opposed to relying on the power of love or friendship or whatever was a refreshing change! Overall, the series took a lot of interesting turns that are fully explored by the end. A really satisfying read, and highly recommended!

I waited a little too long to read the conclusion to this series because I kind of lost interest. Because of that, my expectations were lowered, even though I remember absolutely loving the first two books. So I just went into this book hoping for the best and not really expecting much, which is why it turned out pretty good for me. Frost Like Night was very engaging, just like the first two books. The book was nothing outstanding and nothing really surprising happened, but I'm quite satisfied with the end of this series. I did realise that I'm not the biggest fan of the main characters, though. Also, the way they fixed things in the end was maybe a bit simple. And even though I love the world Sara Raasch has created, it might also be a little simple. I would like to read more about this world, though, because I would love to see how it would evolve and become more complex. Anyway, Frost Like Night was really enjoyable and I'm glad I decided to finish this series after all.

I enjoyed this book well enough, but the ending of the book was a little to easy, a little to predictable and yet no one thought of it sober. It was very frustrating. Other than that a good conclusion to the series

Sara you have done it again! It blows my mind that this is a story that you started at 12, gives hope to all those young writers out there. I hated anytime I needed to put this book down and be an adult, because all I wanted to do was finish reading. I kept trying to guess how this would end and had little luck with that. I thought the ending would be very different, but it did not disappoint. If you haven't started this series, I highly recommend adding it to your reading list.
