SPOILER ALERT

I am enjoying this series more now, and I am determined to get caught up in it, but I’m still waiting to be enraptured in the story. I’m just not really feeling Yukina’s character, or as much of the romance as I should be.

I am enjoying the romance, and even liking the love triangle (and forming square), even if I’m not connecting quite as much as I could be. I like the potential I see in all of the characters, and I’m enjoying what I’ve gotten so far, but there just isn’t enough for me yet.

I like Akira—he seems like a sweetheart to me, if a little possessive. I like Shigure, although he’s frustrating me. Shigure and Yukina are definitely oblivious to their actual feelings, or in denial of them, which I hope doesn’t last too much longer.

We got some family background for Yukina and Akira, and I liked that; I also just like Yukina’s parents and find them absolutely adorable. I’m intrigued by the new girl, Mami, and look forward to officially getting to know her in the next book. I know that the romance is going to get heavier, or at least more physical, in later books, and I look forward to that, being the romance junkie that I am.

I’m looking forward to being completely enraptured in this series, and I feel like it’s coming—I just can’t wait to get there.

I sped through this manga so quickly, you would think that I was in a race. Not only was it super easy and engaging to read, but I just had to know what would happen next. I'm hoping that from this manga onwards, you would start to see a healthier relationship being depicted between Yukina and Shigure because Shigure explicitly says that it's not about the blackmail anymore. The downside is that Akira, Yukina's cousin still wants to be with Yukina romantically. That's the only thing which is making me not enjoy this book. It would have been better if they were not related or if Yukina didn't like her romantically. You can have a love triangle without including incest. I do have one more manga. I am interested in seeing what will happen next but I am unsure if I would purchase more books of this series. I will have to wait until after the end of the fourth volume to make that decision. I do hope that I am able to continue with the series because I think there is potential for me to enjoy it, but I also know that if I start disliking other elements of the manga series, along with feeling uncomfortable about Yukina's romantic feelings for his cousin, then I probably would stop reading the series.

I read this mere hours ago and I can barely remember what happened. Not a good sign. 2 stars

This is basically a love story between two flawed individuals. It's a fun series and the anti-heroes makes it a more interesting shojo than it would otherwise be.

Such a good series.

I’ve realized that Comixology only has the first 9 volumes with Unlimited and that my local library for some reason only has 16-19.... am I going to splurge and buy 10 through 15... that might be like 60 dollars... for maybe a days worth of reading... why is manga so expensive!
