It was an okay book. I had to read it for a class, but it did have me interested at some parts. Wish the ending was more exciting, but the ending makes sense for the story. Boxer deserved better.

J’avais l’impression d’avoir lu le livre avant de l’avoir commencé tellement j’en avais entendu parlé au fil des ans. Au terme de ma lecture, c’est toujours inchangé. Le récit est intéressant et assez bien écrit. Le problème réside dans le fait que le synopsis du récit englobe très bien ce qu’on peut retirer de ce roman.

J’ai aussi trouvé que la forme allégorique n’était pas totalement assumée. Il y avait souvent des détails concernant les humains qui nous sortaient du sentiment de « fable » que nous devrions ressentir en se plongeant dans l’histoire.
