I really liked this book; I couldn't put it down here at the end. I think Alice and Jack are meant for each other so I really don't like her straying thoughts/kisses of Peter. The Lycan were seriously crazy and now that that problem has been dealt with, I wonder where Amanda Hocking is going to go with Mae's little problem in the next book.

I was a little frustrated with this. I wanted them to just get to having sex. For some reason I almost want her to be with Peter. I do like Jack but Peter is hot.

I've read this series so fast, I'm having trouble remembering what happens in which book which makes reviewing pretty difficult!

I'm really wary of Alice and Peter after this one because she just keeps being drawn to him, even though she knows Jack is who she should be with. The adventure to Finland was great in this one and opened up a new level of danger for the characters. The most interesting development is Leif who I'm pretty sure I know who he will turn out to be given all the weirdness in the story with Alice and Milo, but we shall see. I won't put my guess here, in case I'm right. ;)

And again, Jack is great. He's a really refreshing hero of the story with a remarkably down to earth personality. I just think it's really fun to read his interactions with Alice. I'm also glad their relationship finally stopped being in a holding pattern just waiting on everyone else to give their approval.

Mae's character development was also really interesting and I'm pretty shocked by her choices and what she was willing to give up for her choice. It should be interesting to see how that plays out in the final book.

So this is the third in the series of My Blood Approves. It picks up where the other left off. Peter has jumped ship - again - but this time my heart was sad to see him go. I feel sooo bad for that boy. Alice is trying to get a handle on her bloodlust in order to take her relationship with Jack to the next level. Milo has a boyfriend. Soooo then Alice goes with Ezra to save Peter from some lycans (no not werewolves but vampires who live like animals with no humanity left in them). Ezra makes a big sacrifice in order to save Peter and they ALL come home. This book was full of twists and turns that I very much liked. The stressed that is induced for Jack and his jealousy and Alice and her struggle to define how she actually feels about Peter is nice. I was still sad to see that Alice was still mopey and whiney but she wasn't near as bad as in the 2nd book. The action scene(s) were a good add to the storyline but I wished there'd have been more detail included in them. They were sort of lagging in actual action but still good for the plot. They came to get revenge on Peter but Why? I thought that Ezra had handled that...I don't know. Plus Leif decided to leave the Lycan pack because of something to do with Alice...but Why? Olivia was back in this one too and even says that she would do anything for Alice. Which has me wondering: Why? Also Mae is apparently threatened by Alice but Why? There are now a whole bunch of questions that I would like answered and hope that there will be more than just 4 in this series. I am afraid that if all loose ends try to get solved in one book it would be devastating to the series. I am still waiting on some error proofing as the grammatics need help. However it won't keep me from continuing with the series...just hinders me from being able to give it 5 stars.

3 1/2 really. I enjoyed most of the story. I was getting sick of "come with" by the end...I cannot stand that phrase anyway, but to read it over and over. I am not sure I like where Ms. Hocking is going with Mae. I will eventually read book 4, when it is offered on Kindle for a reasonable price.

Somehow this book didn't really work for me. I did enjoy the first 2 books, but this book had too many faults I think. It already started with the beginning: too much drama and then suddenly it went all too easy and quick. The pace kept switching between too fast and too slow.

Also there where a few plot twists that didn't really work out for me. I don't want to spoil anything, but I expected more of this book.

And Alice is finally a vampire, but instead of getting to see see how she deals with it, we just get some flashbacks and well she doens't really is that different. She is just the same whiny and dramatic Alice and I still got annoyed with her. And Alice isn't the only character I was annoyed with in this book a few other characters also displayed some annyoing behavior and even acted a bit irrational and out of character I think.

Where the other book kept my interest, this book mainly just annoyed me. The story and the characters just weren't that good or believeable as in the other books. I will still read book 4 as I already bought it and want to see what happens.

To conclude: not as good as the first two books. It mostly irritated me and the characters and story just weren't that interesting.
