This was such an unexpected five stars for me! I was so invested in the characters and story it was hard to put down. On the surface it seems like a very superficial book filled with Karen’s and petty drama but underneath are very dark and serious themes. I also love the teasing of the mystery in the beginning and end of the chapters.

This book was a fun, engaging read but also spoke so perfectly on some difficult topics. The characters were well-developed, and I was invested in each of their individual stories throughout the book.

i enjoyed the suburban mystery and the way i had to guess who even had died. i liked the little connections between people but omg it was so slow. it definitely would have benefitted from a cut
