My first thought was the writing was beautiful. It really was.
Some things in the story felt intense and detailed and others felt slightly trivial and not fleshed out. (the brother, being creole, the boss)
Overall an enjoyable story.

Was cute. I found Emilie a lot less interesting than Sara. The book ended up being more about healing than actual romance. I really enjoyed Sara's story though.

Nina LaCour, you get me everytime with your books. This one made me cry and slow down and want to look for love in the quiet and small moments. I loved this one so much

I could not focus on any of this audiobook. I was confused when the povs shifted. I just wasn't invested enough to try to push through and I zoned out from a lot of it. Just not for me.
