Could not find a book to better fit ‘dead dove: do not eat’. A unique collection of horror-filled novellas that explore the complicated dynamic in relationship- (romantic, familial, animal, etc) Though this isn’t my cup of tea, i enjoyed the descriptive style of writing, and look forward to exploring this author’s other works.

now let’s ask ourselves: did these short stories need to be written? Perhaps not!

They Were Here Before Us is an excellent novella, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My main gripe with it is that it doesn’t feel like a single novella. It feels like a short story collection instead, as none of the stories really link together. Other than that, the books is excellent, and is my third book by Eric LaRocca rated above 4 stars, so it solidifies them as a favourite author for me.

I like Eric's writing. Obviously there were some stories that were a miss for me. I was reading the second story with my jaw on the floor. Storygraph doesn't have a beastiality tag.
