This series was jut what I needed. It was lighthearted, but still serious but topics that need to have some spotlight.

I am so happy I picked this series up! I read the whole series in two day.
This was such a cute and just good ending. We see change in the characters, and even though we don't know what happens next, like what college they are going to or if the blog is stopping after Lexi leaves, it was a satisfying conclusion.

We left on a good note, and if there is ever coming another trip to Eastline I can't wait for it!

I loved this book. However. It could've been better.
I really love The Queen B* series. They're dramatic, hilarious, adorable, and uni-sex. I liked Alexis more in the first two books rather than in this one. She was more impulsive then, now she's way too calm and nice. Brett, is Brett. He's the great guy. He's prince charming in a jersey. And I like him in this book (personally I love assholes more than nice guys, I know I'm weird).

This could've been better, but I'll take it as it is.

Today I am sad.

No not because The Queen B* and the Homecoming King (The Queen B* #3) was a bad story; far from it. In fact, it was really, really good. I am sad because I have no more books left in the Queen B* series to read.

In the latest Queen B* adventures Alexis and Brett face new dilemmas; they have moved on from the Summer drama. However, their latest challenge may prove the hardest yet to overcome.

Ok, to be honest, this third book was probably my least favourite out of the three books. I still loved it and I still got completely sucked into the world of Eastline High but I think The Queen B* and the Homecoming King was a much slower paced in comparison to the two previous books. I think this is helped by the fact that Alexis has softened. She isn’t as constantly angsty has she has been in the other books. The Queen B* and the Homecoming King (The Queen B* #3) is a brilliant read but I didn’t feel in as much of a rush to find out what happened next.

Somewhat ironically I am now chomping at the bit to find out what happens now. Will Alexis and Brett come to some mutual agreement concerning college? Will Morgan reveal the truth to her parents? What will Alexis’s mom’s wedding be like? And will Brett and Alexis ever do it? Who knows? The ball is in your court Crista McHugh. We want more Queen B*!

The Queen B* and the Homecoming King (The Queen B* #3) by Crista McHugh is available now.

My thoughts: It was better than I’d expected. After reading the second book, I guess I didn’t have too high expectations, so I was happily surprised. It wasn’t as good as the first book, but it was close.
Alexis goes through some major character development throughout this series, and especially this book. At first, she seems pretty hesitant about officially dating Brett, she sets up a bunch of rules about their relationship, like no PDA. She refuses to hang out with him if he’s with his friends.
But throughout the book, she changes a lot. She’s not the same person at the end of this book as she was in the beginning of the series, and you know how much I love character development. It was also interesting to read about her change. It didn’t happen overnight, but it happened throughout three books. It took time, and that’s part of why I loved it so much. Character development can be great, if used correctly. If it happens overnight, it’s not believable, because no one can go through such a change in a day, or even a few days. It takes time.
The plot was a little slow at the beginning, but when things started happening, it felt like everything happened at once, and it felt like it was a little too quick, like maybe the ending could’ve been a little later or something.
And there was a mystery again! Yay! Sure, it wasn’t as good as the one in Confessions of a Queen B*, and it was so predictable, but it was still nice after the boring plot in The Queen B* Strikes Back. This time, though, it’s Alexis’s friend, Richard, who is targeted because he’s gay, and Alexis has to find whoever is responsible and put it on her blog, The Eastline Spy.
To sum it up, it was a fun and interesting read, and, although a little quick, definitely worth reading.

Better than the second book, I felt that one was very predictable.

The relationship between Brett and Lexi really developed nicely in this one. I also liked the relationship between Lexi and her mom.

I hope there is just one more book to this series because I wanna know what happens to Brett and Lexi after high school!

3 stars from me!

This is the third book in the series and I probably would have benefited from reading the others in the series, but it was still an enjoyable book. It was so funny and unique I had to keep turning pages to see what would happen next. If my high school experience was more like this I may have enjoyed it a little more.

This book has surprises as well as predictable moments BUT the predictable moments do not take away from the enjoyment of the story. I enjoyed the characters in this book and could see from their personalities that they have grown and matured through out the series. YA is not a genre I read very often but the author has really done an amazing job with this story line and drawing me into their world.
