An interesting insider view of steel mills. Also addresses questions of religion, politics and mental health. Some good discussion fodder about the value of pursuing university degrees with little hope of working in those fields. The book covered a lot of ground and I found it challenging to hold the main thread or message of the book.

woah. wasn't expecting the sexual assault--it's about 2/3 of the way in.

Disjointed. I really enjoyed reading about the authors time in the mill and that part of her journey. Reading about how much credence & time she gave an ex president was a bit rough. We’ve already wasted enough time on that guy.

Just wow. Easily one or my favorite books of the year.
