This book had a lot going on, but in a good way!

It was romancey. It made me laugh out loud. There was some suspense. Some best friend's little sister - all grown up!

Levi - well everyone is gonna love him. He's swooney.

But my girl Hannah - she is the star of this book! Loved her. Wanna hang with her. And was cheering the entire time that little Hannah with the crush on her brother's bestie was gonna get that man in the end!

This book had it all. It was sexy, hilarious, suspenseful, and romantic.

Hannah Matthews harbored a childhood crush for her old brother’s best friend, Levi Dent. She became a pro at doodling Hannah Dent all over her school journals.
Levi was basically family and a staple at the Matthew house. He never really saw Hannah in that way.

Everything changed at Hannah’s brother’s wedding. A supply closet mishap was only the beginning. Then these two were forced to work together.

Levi and Hannah were hot and cold. This book was full of angst, sexual tension, and laughter.

It took a dramatic turn. I don’t want to give anything away so I can’t say a lot. But I was hanging off the end of my seat.

This was my first book by the author and I was very entertained. Her writing style reminded me a bit of RS Grey.

Whoa

What a trip this book was. I went expecting and getting one then and then BOY did it take a sharp right turn!

I have read this author before and on the whole I've enjoyed this books I've read from them. But I can clearly and honestly say this is the first book I have LOVED.

I didn't expect the suspense and mystery element (even if I did call it pretty early) but it was a welcome element for sure.

The siblings best friend trope is for sure one of my favourites and I kinda loved that Levi didn't lie and claim to have loved Hannah as long as she had him. It makes a nice change.

Levi isn't perfect. Neither is Hannah. But they sure are perfect for each other and I loved them together.

I truly didn't see this book coming and it had shocked me in the best of ways.

**An ARC was provided to me so thank you to the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. I volunteered to leave an honest review. All opinions are my own**

I wasn't expecting this to be so deep. I was expecting a fun, sweet rom-com based on the cover and the blurb. This was so much more.

Levi was dealing with wanting acceptance by his best friend's family, especially his dad. He looked up on him and aspires to be just like him. Jim Matthews took him in and treat him just like his son, unlike his biological dad. He owe it to them for the person he become now. But there's one thing threatening him from being killed by his best friend and his dad, which is Hannah Matthews, his best friend's sister.

Hannah has been in love with Levi Dent ever since she was seven. No matter how much she got bullied and looked down on by their friends. She just wants him to see her. Now on his brother's wedding, it might just be her chance to finally have Levi even if its for a quick hook-up in a closet. She won't have to see him again.. But it turns out that her dad have him mentoring her at their legal firm. Would Levi let her go for tricking him into sleeping with her?

Like I said, this was so much more than the title of the book. Hannah was bullied by her brother's friends even up until she's an adult. I hated Rebecca with my whole being and I don't know why Stacey kept her long enough. Definitely in love with the plot line! I'm all in for making a guy jealous (hahah) Did I tell you there's a whole suspense in this one too?! It was so intriguing that I couldn't put it down!

Highly recommended!

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

This is my first J.D. Hollyfield book and it had me wanting to go and read any other releases that she put out. I was sucked in at the very beginning and couldn't put the book down until I was done.

Levi and Hannah are everything. This brother's best friend, office romantic comedy literally had me laughing out loud, crying, gripping the edge of my seat, and just involved the entire time. I found myself wanting to throw my kindle in anger, squealing out with joy, and just wanting so much more when it was all said and done.

There were times where I felt a little thrown off by the storyline, but it didn't take away from the book at all. It was just one of those things where I was like... woah, what just happened? And I had to go back and read a section a time or two.

All in all, I loved it and it was definitely something that lifted my mood, which is definitely something you want during this crazy time in our lives.

Four stars for this fun romantic comedy that has a little suspense and a whole lot of steam.

What would you do if you had one chance to make a move on your crush of all crushes? Here's the stipulation - the crush won't know it's you. Would you do it?

Meet Hannah, the younger sister to her brother, Kipley. She has had a crush on his best friend, Levi, for forever. The only thing is that Levi, and the rest of Kip's friends, never saw Hannah as anything but Kip's younger sister and someone they could tease and torment growing up.

This story had so many elements - part fun, part suspense, part heartbreak. There was never a dull moment!

I would love to see Chase get his story!
