The one story featuring Jackson Lamb and Molly Doran make this a must-read for Slow Horses fans.
The great find for me were the stories with Zoe Boehm. I've now got a whole set of novels to track down and go through.

series of short stories - most have to do with crime and many have to do with infidelity. Some of the characters appear in multiple stories. Overall not bad but more of a beach read. Slight recommend

I have not read all of Mr. Heron’s books (many are on my Kindle), but those I have are excellent, and this is no exception. There is suspense, humour and intrigue in the various stories. A few are (at least to me) standalone, but we also get a few Zoë Boehm stories (I have not read any of the full novels featuring this character) and one featuring Jackson Lamb. It is certainly worth a read, and if you have not ready any of Mr. Heron’s other works, this is a sure fire gateway drug to get you hooked.

Short stories featuring some of our pals - Molly Doran and Jackson Lamb, Zoe and her erstwhile husband Joe - as well as a few stand-alones. Almost every one features a twist at the end and I never saw it coming (though I'm always bad at figuring out whodunnit). A real treat.

My favorite stories were the ones with Zoe as the recurring character. Clever and twisty.
