Me to me: you wish that was you, huh??

If I had to pick a barbarian for myself, I'd 100% pick Harrec. I love him and his playfulness. He's so frickin' adorable & I love him and Kate together!!!! As for their relationship:
SpoilerI love that they fell in love with each other before they resonated. Ruby really had me on the edge of my seat thinking Harrec wasn't resonating even though I knew in my heart of hearts that it was always going to be Harrec for Kate.

I'm so stressed out about the next book. I read the blurb for it and then combined with the epilogue in this one... it's giving me ~*~anxiety~*~

barbarian's lady was a fun turn of events from the end of redemption. i liked the balance of a flirty, teasing harrec with a more serious, insecure kate. the external conflict was a call back to some of my favorites in the series. harrec was definitely swoony and every time he called her "my kate" and praised her for being strong + independent i was giggling and kicking my feet. over all, had a fun time reading this.

I swear every book that had a male virgin in it was a favourite. I mean, it is something I like in books, but thinking back on all these and the ones I loved even more than the others, I'm sure only one or maybe two of them might not have been virgins... is it the suspense? Their reactions to everything? Maybe they come across more intense to me... ANYWAY. I'm SO excited for Summer's book. The chatterbox and the quiet one. I actually thought to myself towards the start here when she talked heaps 'wow she'd be perfect for him, he might be quiet but I'm sure he'd be sad if he couldn't hear her babbling and it'd be so sweet'.

I loved it. It was full of adventure and I love when someone gets nursed back to health (can't explain why, I just do). I loved the emotion and playful banter. I loved the way they help each other with their fears, and I seriously just ended the book feeling happy. I'm definitely ready for Summers book to hit me with the feels because I sense some real deep shit coming from that man, and I'm ready to grieve with him so he can work towards being happy.
