I loved this book. The premise in itself is very interesting and ghost girl is just so freakin funny, man. Also the men are HOT. Go on and read it.

I see and feel the appeal for this book - when looking to all the amazing reviews and love this book has received so far - because there were some elements that I enjoyed a lot; The paranormal set up for example, was truly awesome. There are some awesome settings in Hell for example - really liked that. But I still couldn't give it a good rating, despite all the amazing reviews this book has already received so far.

I felt like the writing and execution of the story-line was all over the place for the most part of the entire book. It somehow just felt super chaotic to me personally.

I wasn't a super fan of the romance and it really pains me to say this. It's reverse harem, which I really like, but I don't like it when there's so much built up and nothing really happens in the end. I understand it when this happens in YA, and even in those books they have some things happening. But with reverse harem/adult romance, it's really frustrating to me personally. I'm sure, this will all be expanded in the next book, but overall it was just a let down to me in this one.

I did like the main character though, that's something I need to say as well. She has such a strong personality and I loved the way she stood up to everyone and speaks her mind. Her witty remarks were the best!

The guys...I love assholes in stories like these, truly. But unfortunately, these four assholes just didn't do it for me. I can't really point out the Why, because it's just a feeling. Sad for me, because I love falling in love with the male characters in a romance, especially a group of men in a reverse harem story.

It was a fast paced read to me though, despite of the remarks I have on a lot of things. That's why I decided to finish reading the book and find out if things would turn out for the better. And as I said; I really liked the paranormal elements. I'm still quite curious to see what'll happen next, but I have a feeling the next installment is going to bother me again because of the things I didn't like in this one. So I don't think I'll continue with this series, despite the interesting set up and start of the story.

Not all books can be a hit, I guess.

I still think this is an interesting book to pick up, when you want to read reverse harem with paranormal elements. I'd never tell someone to not read a book, but just to find out for yourself what you'll think of it. So if you decide to pick it up; hopefully happy reading in advance!

Four assholes who don’t realize their ghost is a savior.

Parts were good and parts were annoying. It reminded me of another reverse harem I have read. The overarching story is not that interesting. I wasn't going to continue, but it cut off mid sentence so now I will have to at least start the next one. Annoying.

- Heroine: Keyla
- Harem: Gage (One), Ezekiel (Two), Kai (Three), Jude (Four)
- POVs Included: Single Female POV (Keyla)
- Book Playlist (The Dark Side Series Playlist)

For the last five years Keyla has been stuck as an invisible presence inside the house of four guys she’s dubbed the Four Psychos. She doesn’t know what they are, but definitely not human. She has no memory of her time before showing up in their lives. She doesn’t even know her name (she is later given the name Keyla by Ezekiel). Despite their psycho demeanor, she has long fantasized about being taken by the guys like they take the girls they bring home. But once the guys can see officially her, she finds out they are more challenging than they first appeared. And in the meantime she’s trying to keep them from getting killed.

I LOVED this! It was incredibly fun and enjoyable to read. Keyla is such a badass with her developing powers, but she is also so witty and charming. I fell for her hard — easily a favorite heroine for me!

The guys are assholes alright. But they’re KEYLA’S assholes and I can see the chinks in their armor slowly falling away for her. You see, their hesitancy comes from not being sure where she came from and what she is. As her incredible powers are revealed they aren’t sure if someone sent her to destroy their necessary-to-surviving bond they have with each other. But the more she saves, protects, and charms them, the harder it’s getting for them to resist her.

Plus, I like asshole heroes so I like them. My favorite is Ezekiel though because he’s giving in to his attachment to her the most so far.

Still, it’s definitely a slow burn! Not a bad thing though. I actually like the banter and budding (albeit reluctant) companionship between them as the story goes. I can’t wait to see how it all ends up.

Not to mention the story! Which is so fascinating and mysterious. So much mystery to unfold — who are the guys (they don’t know fully), who and what is Keyla, who is trying to kill them, where did Keyla come from. So many awesome things to find out in the coming books! I can’t wait to binge read these suckers!

Definitely recommended for fans of dark-ish paranormal RH books with asshole heroes and a badass witty heroine. Lots of humor but not an outright comedy (mostly witty dialogue and internal thoughts). All pluses in my book! Onto the next one because left off with a bit of a cliffy!

•Funny and lovable fmc
•Broody & Sunshine dynamic
•Underworld/celestial vibes
•Hunger-games-like trials
•Slow burn
•Powers/abilities

Really enjoyed this book, especially for a RH. Some RH’s tend to come off a bit cringey but this one has a good dynamic between all the characters. The book itself has a really good pace, felt like I blinked and finished it. I really enjoy the level of mystery that all these characters are shrouded in and can’t wait to continue reading and discovering more about them.

Loved itt

Funny and a little smutty and certainly slow burn

My thought about some leads:

Spoiler

Keyla ? I still don’t know what to call her so for now I will stick with keyla I think :)
She was funny and strong and I really liked that she didn’t take shit from anyone

liked Lamar A LOT even though we didn’t see much of him but I feel like they could be besties

I really wanted to punch Jude! She told him he was her favorite and he was the one who always hurt her

I really liked Ezekiel, he was the nicest even though he was still an asshole like them

The rest of the bond are tolerable I think ? Still they’re all a bunch of ungrateful pricks
