I read this on the plane to Portland. Intentionally cause, it's set in Portland. This--the third in a series--is too much man. The idea of a serial killer seducing and messing with the lead detective on her case was cute in the first book. Stretching credulity in the second and just plan ridiculous here,

The Susan--reporter character--has no utility anymore as a subplot/joke. She was just annoying at this point.

I can not believe that his series continues for a few more books. I am done.

I feel bad panning cuz the prose and plot were certainly serviceable and there were some fun ideas. But the joke is just worn out.

More rushed and less captivating than the previous two, like the premise is wearing too thin. Also a little less believable, particularly the idea of serial killer tours for a person still alive and killing, not dead long enough to become slightly Ripper-romanticized.

Just when you thought she couldn't get any more psychotic she blows my mind and makes me throw up a little.
