Sophie, the dentist, has an invitation to the Governor’s Couples-Only Valentine’s Day ball with no date and her ex-boyfriend Warren will be there with the bimbo he dumped her for the week before Valentine’s Day. Never fear, her best friend Ellie has just the man to make Warren jealous. After 10 years in California, Ellie’s brother Tanner has returned to North Carolina to work at a local architectural firm. And boy does he make a tux look sexy.

Tanner’s sister is a pain in the butt, but when she asks him to be Sophie’s date for the ball, he jumps at the chance. You see, he has had a crush on her since he was fourteen years old, but he’s not the boy he was back then. He’s handsome, confident, and willing to do anything to make the beautiful Sophie happy.

Tanner goes all out to impress Sophie and make sure they get noticed by Warren at the ball. Even going as far as renting a yellow Lamborghini. After a night with Tanner, Sophie is very attracted to him, but she’s worried about jeopardizing her friendship with Ellie. Can Tanner make her change her mind?

This is a fast-paced romantic novella that will leave you breathless and smiling. If you like romance with a secret admirer, give this one a try.

Thank you to Ms. McLaughlin and Ms. Dover for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

Sometimes you just need a feel good book to make your day better. Sometimes you need a story that gives you hope. Sometimes you need a quick read to fill in the cracks of a crazy day. Sometimes you need a book that you can sink into and enjoy the journey to a happily ever after. Sometimes you read a book and have to immediately reread it.

This was me with A Date with an Admirer. Sophie has been dealt a crappy hand. She has been tossed aside for another. Her best friend, Ellie, has the perfect plan to get Sophie some satisfaction.

The best part of the plan puts Sophie on the arm of Tanner, Ellie's brother. Talk about arm candy!!! He has returned from California transformed. He is no longer the the boy with glasses and acne.

Who knows what can happen when a guy's teen dreams finally come true? Who knows how one will deal with falling for your best friend's younger brother? Who knew the satisfaction that can be gained by showing up an ex. Who knew that a guy going all out to make a gal's night can leave a reader gushing and blushing and happily reading it again.

Valentine's Day is shaping up to be very lonely from Sophie after she ends her relationship with her boyfriend after she catches him cheating. To make matters worse, she is invited to a Valentine's Day Ball which she thinks she wil have to attend alone. But when her best friend Ellie decides Sophie should take her brother Tanner as her plus one, unrequited love becomes a fairy tale in the making. Will Tanner admit he has been in love with Sophie for years? Or will Sophie push him away because she does not want a problem with Ellie? Loved these characters!! Another great read in the series.

I loved this book even more than the first book in this series. It is completely a standalone. I love that it’s written seamlessly. I really can’t tell that there were two authors writing this book. It’s a fast read but that’s what makes it amazing. Can’t wait to see how this progresses.

I love Sophie and Ellie's friendship. They are smart, sassy successful women who have a great sense of humor and a sense of adventure.
Tanner is everything you want your best friend's younger brother to be, even if you can't admit it to yourself. He's hot, smart, successful and he's lusted after Sophie since he was a teenager.
A Date with an Admirer is a short, hot, satisfying read with great emotional and physical chemistry between Sophie and Tanner (even if Ellie had to nudge them in the right direction). And who wouldn't want to ride in a yellow Lamborghini with a hot, tuxxed up fella?

What a quick and cute Valentine's Day read! Just when the holiday of love is around the corner she discovers that her boyfriend is cheating on her. To add she had plans to attend A Couples Only Valentine's Ball where her ex is also still scheduled to attend along with colleagues and friends of theirs. To go or not to go? What about a date? Her best friend Ellie proposes a plan where her brother, Tanner takes her as her date. A person who has moved back home and has always been in love with his sister's best friend.

This is a sweet read of proving that regardless of what Sophie's ex put her through she is going to have to move on. Tanner is the bonus who will tug at your heart for all the swoon moments in showing her that she is more than a date and always has been. A chance for more; however, it is not going to be simple and definitely challenging feels and all. Get ready for a date that will not be forgotten! This is my first book in the series and it was too cute. Looking forward to reading more and experiencing all that The Dating Series has to offer and experience.

I love the date series books. They are short, sweet, and a perfect read when you need a little break from high drama, angsty, dark books! Sophie is trying to move on from her long time boyfriend cheating on her. Her best friend decides to help the best people she knows and hooks her brother and Sophie up for a date to make Sophie's ex jealous. Tanner has loved Sophie since he was a youth. He knew she was out of his league so he left town. When he gets back his scheming sister is asking him for a chance to live his dream. He reluctantly agrees, it is amazing! Then shit happens. Lots of shit! But no worries this short sweet book ends with a HEA (or at least, giving one a shot).
