Beautiful. Different from the movie, but I loved it as much as I did the movie.

I am an absolute wreck. Everytime I read this book it tears me apart. So beautiful and pure and sweet. Landon will always be one of my favorite book boyfriends. Will always be top three of my favorites by Nicholas Sparks.

Predictable, but a good read. Got a few tears out of me at the end.

I'm not usually a Nicholas Sparks fan. But my dad told me to read that one, and I'm glad I did. It was very good.

Sparks does a brilliant job of making you care. Always brings a tear nosy yet how many times I have read this

May make fun of Nicholas Sparks books from time to time but this one will shamelessly always be a favourite. Love the movie too but the book has more depth (you know, without the whole singing in a play all made up and now he's in love).

So sad. But oh so good. I hate reading the book after I watch the movie. Usually, I'll just not read the book because it makes me mad that I keep picturing the movie in my head. But I gave this one a chance. It was really good. Nicholas Sparks is always a tear jerker, but I found this story to be less cheesy than some of his others.

Thank God that this was better written that The Notebook. Thanks to this, I MIGHT read another Sparks book but mostly at the bottom of the list thanks to The Notebook. I'll have to consult reviews first though probably or just get them at bargain prices.

I've seen the movie years ago and I feel like that was better but they each have their own ups and downs. The movie ended the story better but the book made Jamie's situation more heartbreaking since it dives more into it compared to the movie. She is rather too saintly, too perfect though and seeing a bit more flaw with her would've been better to give room for character development.

Now better doesn't mean it's that good. Plot-wise it was set up to get one excited on what happens next. Good enough I suppose but I've already seen the movie before hand so you have to factor that in too. Prose-wise, not as good as hype but acceptable. I thought he would be more poetic about it though.

One thing I've noticed with Sparks books is that the movies seem to be better than the books. But this is only my 2nd Sparks book so...
