The Pain Gap is a comprehensive study and analysis concerning racism and sexism in the medical industry, specifically with concerns regarding maternal and reproductive health. A majority of this book is conceptualized within the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but she also discusses historical events and medical ethics. I enjoyed the book, but it only covered a narrow area of reproductive justice and the medical system.

Good, but not great. Some Information repeated too many times and the writing is messy and jumbled.

liked the book, feel like the title is a little misleading, mostly covers covid and racism in America and how that has affected pregnancy care and childbirth -- could have dug deeper, not sure I learned anything new
