A book filled with tons of information and resources - and in list form of course (while slightly outdated). Interesting to learn more as we live in a distraction driven world.

Felt dated (using term ADD instead of ADHD, focus on older medication options)and preachy. Did not like the case study format.

This was a helpful book to understand ADHD. It walks through the process of being diagnosed, offers lots of tips for assessments, medication options, etc.. I was afraid it would read out of date, it matches a lot of what I've read from more recently released books.

The book was very easy to read and digest, with frequent switches from more abstract concepts and concrete, interesting stories of patients the authors have worked with. The voice is accessible and the book as a whole is informative, thorough, and realistic.

Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning more about ADD.
