The build-up was too slow but the crescendo of Wiccan power was great. Who knew that Morgan had it in her?
(Everyone. Morgan is way too overpowered but the first person narration makes it fun for me to imagine that I am the one with the power. Ha.)

A return to the land of plot-type things actually happening! That would have earned this book four stars but for the fact that Morgan and Hunter are pretty much the sole focus of the story here. Family and friends held no real role, having to take a backseat to the constant will-they-or-won't-they thing. And—time for a little honesty—I don't actually like Morgan. At all, really. I'm still reading this series because I enjoy the full cast of characters. Let's hope they make a return soon.
Oh, and this was the first time that I didn't enjoy the Book of Shadows excerpts at all, because Selene's entries added absolutely nothing to the story. Ugh.

Someone is after Morgan and Hunter, it’s also Yule and their relationship is growing.
