Beautiful story, did not want to put it down. The ending was so beautifully done.

Absolutely in-love with Madeline and Olly’s journeys. Honorable mention to Carla 🤍

“One thing I’m certain of: Wanting just leads to more wanting. There is no end to desire.”

Madeline has just turned 18 and thought she was okay being stuck in her house due to her disease. That is until she begins a relationship with the new neighbors' son. The relationship grows quickly and Madeline tries to recognize that things are moving fast. She's not sure if it's because he is a new person in her life or if this is love. But she begins to lie to her mother on big things and secrets begin to be exposed. There is some great foreshadowing throughout the story for the twist at the end and Yoon had me second guess myself a couple times with her hints. A good addition for YA romance sections.

simple writing but an interesting concept. i saw the movie a few years ago so already knew the plot twist, without knowing it beforehand it would have been very good. story felt rushed in parts.

Very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this! It had a lot of YA cringe flirting and questionable teenage decisions but what do you expect from a YA romance ya know? I enjoyed the plot twist because I considered it but didn’t think the book would be ballsy enough to do it but then they did! Loved that. So yeah a very fun, very heterosexual YA time.
