I couldn't wait to read the next dark fairytale, and this one was no disappointment. Snow White wasn't as rotten as Cinderella, but her story was a tragic one and I liked that there was a romantic story along with her revenge one. Just like with the first book, it was quick paced and easy to read. Can't wait for the next one!!

It's definitely an interesting turn of events.. all them fan based disney theories on how the Disney princesses are connected have nothing on these princesses stories nor the corruption. If you like retellings this series is great so far.. not too much depth or character building which is why I only have it only 4 stars but still entertaining.

I really liked the first book..... What happened?

My Rant may have spoilers

Snow i really disliked but felt sorry for as no one ever loved her, apart from Supposedly hunter but he was as fickle as a pair of well used second hand shoes.... What he did was about as heroic as a pillowcase, leave snow locked in a palace with an evil mirror while he took her stepmother who has been has been brutal to snow, whisking said evil queen her off to a cabin in the woods cares for her and falls in love, because she sews a button for him... Neither of the women are winning any awards for being a Stepford wife but still....

farewell

I wasn't a fan of the first book in this series, but these are quick reads and I was curious enough with the ending to see how this one played out.

This book is definitely better than the first one, with the characters toned down enough that they aren't completely over the top. Snow White, unlike Cinderella seems to have a good heart underneath everything, and that made the book more interesting to read.

I have decided to finish reading the series with this book however, because while it was diverting, it didn't grip me enough to want to know what happens next.

Glad I found this series

Another dark take on a well known fairytale. I enjoyed it as much as the first book. I love the way the each book focuses on one fairytale character, but establishes a relationship with the next book's main character in a way that moves the overall storyline along. I wish I didn't have to wait for the next chapter in the series to be released. I'll be waiting, not so patiently, for Rotten Rapunzel.

Actually a pretty solid 2.5! The story got a bit repetitive, but I'm looking forward to seeing where the author takes the series.
