My second Lucy Foley book, I read it after reading the guest list and this is nothing like it 😂 i picked it as it takes place in Italy and I wanted a bool to read for my Italy trip! In similar Lucy Foley still it starts slow and picks up about halfway through. There was a little mystery and suspense to it and a love story that kept me engaged

This book took me a bit to get into and I found it slow at times. I really enjoyed the character development and back story. There are lots of historical elements twisted into the story and I think that this book would be even more interesting for someone who loves history. I will say I loved the ending. Overall I’m not disappointed, it just was not a page-turner for me.
