Dinosaurs love underpants, and so do my kindergarten, first and second graders. When talking about this book with one of my student's parents, she relayed a story about him putting on 15 pairs of underpants one day.
The poetry isn't great, the scientist in me twitches at the idea of dinosaurs living at the same time as people, but the enjoyment factor of my kids? Exponential. When the kiddo who can barely last 10 minutes with me doing ANYTHING sits still for 20 minutes, ask and answers questions about book and then demands "AGAIN!" I can kind of gloss over those other things. Another one of my speech therapy students regulated his behavior for 6 sessions in order to earn the reward of doing the "Aliens Love Underpants" book.
Underpants are funnier than ALL of the knock, knock jokes and seem to be endlessly popular.
I wonder what else can love underpants?

This one doesn't flow as smoothly as Aliens Love Underpants or Aliens in Underpants Save the World, but it's still fun. Although, the ending is definitely a bit morbid. I probablywon't use this one in story time because, although age-appropriate and fun, there are LOTS of better Dinosaur books out there.

Exquisite, never read anything so eloquent, thought provoking or scandalous. A little bit gruesome for the youngest of children but I enjoyed it THOROUGHLY.

I know this is supposed to be a funny story, but it drove me nuts that cavemen and dinosaurs were coexisting. I also didn't like the fact that dinosaurs became extinct after an all-night fight. Good idea, poor execution.

Picked this book up at goodwill for my Dino- obsessed toddler. We really enjoyed it! She giggled every time I read “underpants”. I liked the fact the author used scientific names for the dinosaurs. Colorful and comical pictures.

A very sweet book about the history of underpants and their significance for the history of the world. i simply loved the depiction of the sabertooth tiger

Horribly inaccurate (not an issue for kids but I HATE that) and forced rhymes.
